  Rick LC There is a laundry mat about 3 miles away. I was introduced to H.E.B. grocery store and was very impressed. Saw the bats leave Congressional bridge from the water aboard Lone Star $15/person included a guided tour on Lady Bird Lake/Colorado River. We went one night to watch the bats from the observation deck on the north end and they were not visible, they fly from the south end. Barton Springs pool was nice and refreshing only $5/person and Austin was in the background. The park has a great trail for walking dogs, biking, walking. Upper and lower falls were very nice even with low water flow.

  GD in a GD Easy ride into Austin on Martin Luther King Blvd (main road to the right of campground) In Austin Terry Blacks BBQ is the place to go. Home Slice Pizza was also good. Capital Building is open to the public as long as they are not in session. Very interesting to walk around and look at artwork and architecture (Dome is cool)
