This is the second time we have stayed here. Really clean and a great value. We camped at Boone County Fairgrounds Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cleanliness

The sites are grass sites and share a pedestal with the site next door.. The sites have electric and water and a dump station at the location. Friendly people, very accommodating, quiet. We thoroughly...

Tip for Other Campers:

We only stayed for one night and had everything we needed. The area had Grocery and drug stores. Both Walgreens and Hy-Vee within a couple of miles

Cathlene & Matt If you are here on a Tuesday try the farmer's market in Henderson. Be sure to try out Two Bakers, their pastries are to die for. In fact she may even deliver them for you. There is easy access across the freeway for fuel in fact, the prices were the best we've seen in a while.

Christopher_643343be1785c Make time to go to York to the Clayton Museum of Ancient History on the campus of York University. There is no admission fee and it is filled with stunning biblical era artifacts.
