Tip for Other Campers:
Visit the Amish "Dutchman's Store" in Cantril.
Walk to old rail bridge between Bentonsport and Vernon.
Most shops and restaurants in historic villages are closed Mondays.

Restrooms are spotless, hot showers. And very reasonable prices. We come here every year. We camped at Lake Sugema Campground in a Travel Trailer.

- KennyB619 They do have a group camp, good covered meeting space, but no shade for the campers. Bring canopies. El Centro is not a really bad drive, so theres no need to feel stranded. Tip for Other Campers:
The three cities to visit in the area each have there own small and unique things to offer. Bonaparte has some small shops worth the visit. Keosauqua has a great restaurant Riverbend Pizza & Steakhouse has some great food. With Mistys Malt shop will take care of your ice cream needs. The city of Cantril has the Amish run Dutchmans Generl Store.
