Tips from campers about WaKeeney KOA Journey
- Idunno The steam train ride is the main (maybe the only) reason to visit this area and it's a great adventure. The tracks back up against the campground so you get to see the train twice each day. Not many choices for restaurants or groceries and some restaurants aren't open 7 days a week though to be fair, I visited the area late September and that may have had an effect. You could walk to the train station if desired.6 months ago Rio Chama RV Park

“Great Overnight Stop - Just off I-70”

We stayed here for 1 night traveling back to Michigan from Utah. Just off I-70, easy in/out and convenient for our trip. Staff was very friendly, highway noise did not bother us when closed up....
