Many of the restaurants near the rv park within walking distance are closed Sun and Mon. We drove to the French quarters and ate there. Be aware of parking fees, check those out ahead of time. We paid $34 for about 3-4 hours.
Tips from campers about Jude Travel Park
- rayschilke Lots of nature and attractions to see in this area of the Smokies. A dream place for motorcycle riders. It is an hour drive to more that could be seen in a week.2 years ago Teaberry Hill
- Lkldawg1 Review their website for driving routes to get there!2 years ago Teaberry Hill
- DaBoo My advice? Plan multiple Teaberry Hill trips (or spend a month ;-)). That way you have more time to spend at the camp and also explore the area (we had planned a motorcycle trip everyday for the week, I wish I would've had a day or two of just "camping" or rafting or tubing...). We enjoyed some new local back roads (many of them) for motorcycling (of course there's the Tail of the Dragon - giggle fun, but there's more roads to explore!). Fontana Dam was a well spent stop. For me, it was worth taking the time going back to Townsend: go 'up' the tail, drive the entire Foothills Parkway (all the way to end), drive back down 321 to eat in Townsend and then ride down the Little River Gorge Road - it has been my favorite road for many years. We did go "full circle" through Cherokee back to Teaberry Hill - but that was a very long day or riding - stunning - but long.4 years ago Teaberry Hill

Tip for Other Campers:
To get to Bourbon Street using public transportation, walk across the street and take the #9 bus in the direction NOT toward Tchoupitoulas. A senior Jazzy Pass costs only $0.80 each and allows unlimited transfers and rides for twenty-four hours. Get off at Canal Street and take the Canal Street Streetcar toward the river. Get off at Bourbon...
