Tips from campers about Salem, MA
- Cynthia_813 ***BIG RIG GPS TIP*** We were arriving from the Cape Code area (southwest from here) and both of our GPS platforms were routing us through the city of Salem. We highly recommend staying on the highway until you reach Cabot St/Rankoul, coming in through Beverly. The approach to the park is much less stressful this way. Just know that when you leave, youll need to head north one exit when you get back to the highway to avoid a low clearance bridge. Also Salem is crazy even when its not October. We probably shouldnt have tried exploring on a Sunday. We did tour the House of the Seven Gables on Saturday. It was well worth the time and money.7 months ago Winter Island Park Campground

- Spirit Led Pertillo's for dinner. Don't miss it. Take the trolly bus into downtown Salem tourist area. Roads are tight if you have a truck or RV.7 months ago Winter Island Park Campground
