“Beautiful park but needs attention”

Tip for Other Campers:
There is a small shallow lake, Greenough Lake, a quarter miles from the campground. It's a popular fishing lake for children. There is a road along the Rock creek with some free campsites without host along the way and some fishing accesses. The view of the Beartooth mountain from there is spectacular.

Beartooth pass is stunning. You could do it in a medium sized rig with a skilled driver but much more enjoyable with a car. Great hike to Greenbough lake from the campsite.
