The layout of the park was alright. Lots of small sites in a tight space, pretty typical of many small field-camping campgrounds we’ve stayed in. There were two pools, which was nice, lots of room for...

From the road this campground seemed a bit cramped, but we were pleasantly surprised. The campground is home to 70% seasonal I think, but is still very welcoming. The campground is very quiet, has...

Tips from campers about Island View Camping
- Bettty45 Florence is a cute town. There are two golf courses and a casino. Lots of folks come here to fish the river and the ocean. There are also dunes so people bring their sand buggies and ride the dunes and beach areas.6 months ago Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage
- Suzann4 We walked around downtown and had clam chowder at MOs. Rent ATVs at Torex ATV rentals. Had a great time. Dont forget to visit the lighthouse and sea lion cave.8 months ago Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage

Enjoyed our 4 nights here. It was a heat wave and the pool was very nice. We had a back-in spot near the beach. The owners are very nice and good communicators. We didn't use the facilities but...

Tip for Other Campers:
Lots to do in St. Andrews. We enjoyed hiking the Van Horne trail which was the old railway alignment. We also enjoyed eating on the patio of the Harbourfront restaraunt (repeat customers over a number of years). Don't miss the Kingsbrae gardens for a relaxing afternoon amoung a huge variety of plants.
Rate was just $20 CAD or USD because the campground was closing for the season. Self registered since the office was closed. Our site was not level, but okay for one night. We had good DishTV...

This park has a lot of permanent residents but everyone is very friendly. You can get three over the air TV stations from Maine if you are lucky. No wifi. Nice pool and activities on the weekends. You...

Tip for Other Campers:
St. Andrews is great! Have a drink on the porch of the Alagonquin Hotel - wow! The golf course is really nice also. Lots of good shopping.
