Tip for Other Campers:
The timing of the Tidal Bore in Truro was early afternoon, so we went to that Discovery Park and watched it, including 2 locals who surfed up river. If you look at the end of the parking lot, there is an abandoned bridge foundation that I cautiously walked out on for my image. The drive to Lunenburg seaport is about 90 minutes, and well worth the trip for the quaint downtown area and multiple seafood restaurants, although they were pricey as a tourist town can be....

“Quiet and well maintained ”
