Hiking is everywhere, however, when hiking on the beach beware of the tides. The tides vary from 30-50 feet! Nearby Partridge Island is a great hike with stunning views. This campground has pit toilets. We had no picnic table. There was a beach, and we had an ocean view. We camped at Glooscap Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Ottawa House .... Do not drive in the loose shale even with 4x4 you will get stuck. Visit Anne Murray museum 30 min away in Springhill, Fish and Chips in Five Islands. Lots to do and see.

We were given the "Honeymoon" site #16. Beautiful water views. The walk along the shore was beautiful as ling as the fog held off. A great spot for a 2 night stay allowing us to visit Joggins Fossils....

Tip for Other Campers:
Fundy Geological Museum is fabulous. SIgn up for one of their dinosaur walks - see real fossils along the Fundy shoreline. FORCE research center has exhibits about generating electrical power from Fundy tides. Interesting, though you will take a gravel/dirt road to get there.
