“Great beach and very close to the ferry from PEI”
Nightly Rate: $50 CAD
Campground is quite. The beach was a few minute walk from our site
Our site was very large We camped at Caribou-Munroes Island Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

“Beautiful, private and spacious spot and 5 minutes walk to the beach!”

Just the perfect campground like we are used too. We camped at Caribou-Munroes Island Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips from campers about Caribou-Munroes Island Provincial Park
- MEdwardR Sonny's Diner in Hatteras was friendly and fast. Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is close and worth the visit.
- n2916s If you are going to fish, pick up a North Carolina license at any bait shop. ORV permits for the beach and campsite reservations are at Recreation.Gov.
- GoingNoWhereFast 4x4 on the beach is $50 for a 10day pass. No one day pass. The beach can be crowded if the fish are biting. Much Nice than the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Campground

Easy to get in and out, plenty of long sites. Showers are great, lots of hot water. Easy to get to the beach. Starlink still needs to point North here and many of the sites in the middle loop...

Kind of isolated but there are groceries in Pictou.

Campground is well cared for and maintained on the Northumberland Straight. The campsites are large and well marked with enough separation even in the open sites. This is not a parking lot Campground....

Well spaced sites. Welcoming and efficient. Loop A is open grass with sea views. Other loops are more private in treed areas. In loop A there was one large room for shower and toilet. Very clean....

Tip for Other Campers:
Beach access from loop A for 11km of beach walking
well worth the detour from the TCH. Pictou is a pretty town with restaurants, small harbour etc.
