“Quiet peaceful campground ”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Quiet park. Spot 23 was excellent, large space with good views. Bathrooms small but clean. Awkward not having male/female on bathrooms. You could come out of shower and a man coming out of toilet....

Tip for Other Campers:
Chickasaw Cultural Center is located across the road from the campground. Very nice museum and displays throughout the Cultural Center property. Spent about a day to see all of it. Recommended for those who enjoy Indian culture and history. There is a bridge at the rear of the Cultural Center that crosses Rock Creek and goes directly into the Chickasaw...

“New owners, ignore high rating and read newer reviews”
Nightly Rate: $43 USD
This is a hard park to rate. There are new owners, so you should ignore the high average rating from the past and focus on reviews after September 2023. From our experience, this website should reset...

Tip for Other Campers:
The historic section of downtown of Sulphur took a direct hit in April 2024 from an EF-3 tornado, and the area is still in rubble, sadly. Several interesting places to see and experience CCC handiwork in Chickasaw National Recreation Area, formerly Platt National Park until the 1970s.
“Hidden Gem”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
This is one of the nicer parks we have stayed in. The sites are spacious and most have shade. The pads are gravel and all are fairly level. The park itself outside of the RV sites is very large,...

“Close to town. A lot of open space. ”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
They gave us a Tornado relief discount. We only slept here. We were volunteering with Samaritans Purse after the tornado hit the week before. We camped at Arbuckle RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
