“Good Site to Explore From”
Nightly Rate: $60 CAD
Mostly long timers with clustered transient areas. The office is quite way up the road from the actual campground. Hilly. We camped at Smith's Trailer Park & Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Sainte-Marie-Among-The Hurons is the go to place for history buffs. It is a large re-enactment complex in good condition, and had lots of guides, actors, while we were there. Discovery Harbour in nearby Penetanguishene was worth a visit although the tall ship is currently off limits as it is being restored. Martyrs' Shrine for those so inclined, but it can...

Little Lost park 1/2 mile away - can walk there. Beautiful park on lake. Includes off leash dog park. Tips from campers about Smith's Trailer Park & Camp
- Wolf65 Beware of ticks they are known in this area, there is full sun no tree coverage. The lighthouse on montauk point is super close maybe 10 to 15 minute ride great restaurants and shops on the main rd in town also hiking trails that are not difficult with suburb views. No dogs allowed at this campground and fires are allowed on the beach11 months ago Hither Hills State Park
