Beefcakes Burger Factory is da bomb, and right up the road. So is Hodder Tavern, a friendly dive bar for we who like that. Terry Fox Memorial is awesome and one exit away.

Nice campground and sites. Early season but the water was not potable and the washroom was not cleaned well since the winter We camped at Trowbridge Falls in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
It is $50 taxi ride into Thunder Bay.
In order to get to The Amethyst mines, you must drive over very bumpy, rocky and pot holed gravel roads for several miles. I would not recommend trying to get a big rig to the mines.
The people in Thunder Bay were very accommodating and wonderful.

Lots of parks to visit in Thunder Bay. Merla Mae ice cream is crazy good.
