“Clean and quiet little park along Knowels, 20 min from the coast.”
Nightly Rate: $25 USD
Stayed at site 9 (of 9), which was the biggest site with 26' trailer and Sequoia. Trailer length is probably close to the max here. Host was friendly and helpful. No hook ups, but we filled the...

Tip for Other Campers:
Sweet Creek Falls trail is 15-20 min away, short easy hike. Florence, OR about 20 min away cheaper gas and the beach.
If heading back through Eugene, the Eugene water treatment plant has a free dump (two stations and a boat station) with no potable water.
This is a very small Lane County park long Rt 126. It is right on 126, the main route between Eugene and Florence, so it is noisy during the day. That's why I gave it an 8 and not a 9. It is also...

Tip for Other Campers:
Florence on the coast is about 17 miles away. It's a great place to spend the day shopping, eating and sightseeing. It is also the closest real grocery shopping.
Tips from campers about Archie Knowles Park
- Lee_Hetherington_642 Epic hikes for all ages! Angles Landing (which we did) requires a special permit, online registration required. we also rode our tandem bike up the canyon to the narrows - beautiful!
- Rod_225 Great location to catch the shuttle to Zion NP or ride a bike or walk in. Would definitely have bikes or rent bikes for a trip into the park. Electric bike rentals were everywhere in the town and park.
- Steve_961 Busy place with beautiful views. I wouldnt want to come in the peak time as it gets very crowded. Parking is almost non existent and you pay dearly if you do find a spot. They do have shuttles that run constantly during peak season. The old tunnel was very cool. We ate at Jacks Sports Bar - best pulled pork ever! We could park there for free for two hours if we ate there.4 weeks ago Zion Canyon Campground and RV Resort
