Boondocking only, no hookups. Lots of geese dropping. Not much to do except relax and enjoy the lake view. Host was exceptionally friendly. Sites are grass only and located next to full timers Park....

Tips from campers about Fern Ridge Shores
- Blackfish Lots of hiking close by. Canmore short drive & Banff
- Rollin Ollens A very easy hike up Heart Creek was very nice. A more energetic scramble up Heart Mountain is well worth it for the views. There are areas where you can get into more serious climbing very near by. Plenty of day hiking in the area.

Great place to say and get away but a short drive to Eugene if you need or want to get out and do anything will definitely be coming back We camped at Fern Ridge Shores in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
It is fairly close to Eugene, so anything you would need isn't that far away. You do have to watch for the turnoff from HWY 126, as there was not a sign. It is quite a peaceful place.
