Boondocking only, no hookups. Lots of geese dropping. Not much to do except relax and enjoy the lake view. Host was exceptionally friendly. Sites are grass only and located next to full timers Park....

- Don in VA Mr. Whippys soft serve is an island must do. If you like real ice cream theres the Island Creamery jus a block or two down Maddox Ave. If you need something for the trailer there is a very well equipped Ace Hardware on Maddox at the roundabout. Assateague Island is a must visit for the wildlife and ponies but bring strong mosquito repellent. When the mosquitoes are bad its literally unbearable.7 months ago Tom's Cove Park

Great place to say and get away but a short drive to Eugene if you need or want to get out and do anything will definitely be coming back We camped at Fern Ridge Shores in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
It is fairly close to Eugene, so anything you would need isn't that far away. You do have to watch for the turnoff from HWY 126, as there was not a sign. It is quite a peaceful place.
