Tips from campers about L\'Épiphanie, QC
- Steve & Debby The restaurant by the boat dock is very good. Both Williamsburg and Jamestown are worth visiting.3 weeks ago Ed Allen's Campground & Cottages
- jcems51 Although we mostly stayed at the campground, there is a lot to do in the area. Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens amusement park, Jamestown and Yorktown National Historical sites, wineries, etc. There is diesel fuel at several sites near the campground, but I wouldn't recommend it hooked up. There is a Love's Truck stop about 10-15 miles away that is an easier option. There is a restaurant on site, we didn't get anything but desserts there, but it has a nice water view. Having a golf cart is definitely a plus here, the campground is spread out - didn't notice anyone driving recklessly while we were there. You must cross an unprotected railroad crossing to get to the campground - it's in a straight stretch of track, so it's easy to look both ways - trains are rolling pretty fast through here. Recommend downloading the "Campersapp", the campground did a great job of notifying those on the app of upcoming events during the weekend.10 months ago Ed Allen's Campground & Cottages
- Moving Our Dot We may go back in a couple of years to see if bathrooms are upgraded and clean. It seems the entire park is being upgraded based on my conversation with front desk. Office folks were very nice and seemed happy we were there. For the price, we are not going back until stated upgrades are complete. There were very nice areas, but not where we stayed.11 months ago Ed Allen's Campground & Cottages
