“Quiet, lovely small park. ”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
Park along the river. A little tricky to level based on the slightly sloping driveway. Staff great. Area patrolled by host and local police. Felt safe. Quiet. We camped at Lock A in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Eat at the Riverview Restaurant. Nearby and very reasonably priced. Views of the water. Ashland City is about 15 minutes away and has everything you would need. Laundry mat near Walmart is great but very expensive. Worth it to have super clean clothes and done quickly. Stayed in site 27 with a 35 foot fifth wheel. Plenty of space for everything. Fire ring...

“Idyllic Corps of Army Engineers (COE) Campground on the Cumberland River”

General Impression: Absolutely beautiful setting on the Cumberland River. About half the campgrounds sites had direct riverfront views. All campsites were back-in and many, but not all sites, designed...

Tip for Other Campers:
Tips: (1) If possible book a riverfront site to get the best view of passing pleasure craft and tugboats pushing huge barges. (2) Camping fees are half/price for those of us with a US Senior Parks Pass. (3) Try booking during the week to avoid competing with locals for a weekend reservation. (4) The Pardue Pond and Dyson Ditch Wildlife Refuges are on the...

Tip for Other Campers:
Cumberland River bike trail -The trail has a mix of gravel and paved road. There are 2 hills that can be challenging but doable. Round trip is 14 miles then you can add another 6 miles R/T to the dam. On the trail there are a couple of Porta potty. Theres also quite a few benches and picnic tables so take your lunch/snack and enjoy the ride and the...

“Really pretty campground!”
Nightly Rate: $14 USD
We really enjoyed camping here. The sites are spacious and ours was perfectly level. W/E only but dump station at exit. We had 2 bars with ATT and our Starlink worked great at our semi-shady site. My...
