Tips from campers about Streetman, TX
- The Farrells We had a great guided fishing trip with Royce from Gone Fishin Guide Service. The lake is huge, and we boated about 40 miles in total to get to various hot spots. We caught white, yellow, and hybrid striped bass and one big crappie we couldn't land. Royce rigged our lines, unhooked the fish, and cleaned them when we got back. It was the highlight of the trip! There is also a really good hardware store nearby that my husband was very excited about: Richland Chambers Hardware!2 years ago Fisherman's Point Marina
- Swampowl The on-site restaurant was okay. I had fried catfish which was great, plus fries and corn nuggets which were the kind you get in the freezer section at the grocery. Didn't try breakfast but it smelled great. We drove over to The Harbor Restaurant on Richland-Chambers lake for lunch. It was pretty good--the portions weren't huge (which was okay with us) but I did not hear anyone complaining. It was a bit pricey; about $13 for my fried catfish sandwich. They have a whole lot of interesting pizzas.5 years ago Fisherman's Point Marina
- Rusty and Janet Main thing at this park are for people who already have a boat and want to go boating and fishing. A swimming hole for kids is available and bank fishing is allowed. Fishing permits can be purchased at the bait store. There are no stores close to this park so make sure you are supplied. The bait store does have some items such as toiletries, snacks. There is a small restaurant there as well.7 years ago Fisherman's Point Marina
