“Quiet Campground”
Nightly Rate: $41 USD
10 Acres Campground was a good experience because I believe I had the best site in the whole campground. Site 86 was on the very back and boasted a large site with mature trees for shade, but also a...

Stayed for one night. Nobody was at the office and the number that it said to call went to voicemail. One of the many "residents" told me the owner was away and I could just go to my spot if I knew...

Short drive to Fort Ticonderoga. Crown Point historic site is just over the bridge.
Tips from campers about 10 Acres Campground & RV Park
- Deanna_Hince_823 There are two excellent Disc Golf Courses back to back near the North Soccer Complex. One is a long distance course and the other is a technical course. There is a restaurant through the back gate called The Hangar! Absolutely delicious food and service. They are open for lunch and dinner. We had ribs and brisket with an incredible house salad and buffalo chicken wings with cajun fries. In the morning we drove into town and ate breakfast at the Eggington. Delicious Country Fried Steak with Gravy and fried red potatoes. They also have every type of omelet and skillet you can think of. Plus huge Cinnamon Rolls and Sticky Rolls and Muffins. You won't be disappointed at either place. The prices were good too. There is an excellent paved bike and hiking path throughout the whole town called the North Platte River Trail. Such beautiful views. We didn't get a chance to visit all the Historic Downtown area and several museums. We also didn't get to Rotary Park where there is a short walk to a waterfall. If you go a little further you will be able to go to Casper Mountain just 30 minutes from the campground. We definitely could have stayed here one or two more nights. We used the old showers right behind the KOA office. They were great! There are signs saying upgrades will be coming soon. There is a whole new shower building with a code in the middle of the park. But they are really busy. So we used the ones by the office. The Laundromat is clean and nice. 4 washing machines with 2 of them being a little bigger. All for $2 a load. The dryers are $2 a load too. We loved they had a pole to hang up your clothes after they were clean. They had a nice store with most things you would need for groceries, gifts or for your camping experience. They had a great ice cream selection too.6 months ago Casper KOA Journey

“A campground with a lovely view of Lake Chammplain”
Nightly Rate: $60 USD
We spent two nights at 10 Acre Campground & RV Park. We were assigned to Site A-1, a full-hookup pull-through site. We were positioned on a patch of gravel next to a small pond and had a lovely view...

Tip for Other Campers:
The food and service at The Bridge Restaurant at nearby Chimney Point were excellent. The Broughton True Value Hardware on VT-22A in Bridport is a good source of hardware if a need arises to make repairs to the RV

Overnight or transient sites appear to be an after thought. We were directed to site A2 by owner through the window. I had no idea from the office window the numbers went A2, A1, A3. Had it been...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Bridge restaurant...ice cream was good. Rueben sandwich was so soupy it had to be eaten with a knife and fork. The Turkey Club sandwich was good but we ordered a Roast Beef club sandwich, as was an option on the menu.
Restaurant was for sale at the time, but appeared to be popular with locals.

We appreciated the staff honesty with current condition of site that he had planned for us to stay. They had had recent rains that had made the site soft and muddy which would not be good for a 40...

Tip for Other Campers:
The campground was close to the New York border. It was a quick trip to Ticonderoga and Crown Point.
