Overall Rating

As of April 2005, this campground is closed. The land was sold and rezones as residential building lots. We camped at Tye River Gap Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rsteinhart__850 Stick with Rv life safe gps. I used our Xite nav and followed 46 coming in from the West. Lots of road construction and some tight lanes. Will be that way for probably the rest of the year at least. Visit Groene a small town with boutique shops, music halls, beer/wine and food. Went to a very nice small restaurant called Texas Bistro very close. Great food, friendly staff. Also stopped at Blacks BBQ for late lunch after visiting Groene. The fatty brisket was awesome as well as the bbq chicken.

HillcountryRver Close to New Braunfels, San Marcos, Guadalupe River, Comal River, San Marcos River, San Marcos outlet mall, schliterbahn, Canyon Lake, Gruene Hall, Gristmill, Texas State University, Texas Ski Ranch,Wuertzfest, For workers it is near Amazon, HEB, Walmart, Mayfair.
