Tips from campers about Blanchardville, WI
- RichR If you need electric, make sure you read each site description carefully. Most sites to NOT have electric hookups.6 months ago Yellowstone Lake State Park
- erosenbe There are a number of nicely maintained trails from very flat around the lakeshore to quite hilly with great vistas of the "driftless area" which surrounds the park. A special perk at this park--there are little to no mosquitoes! Yellowstone Lake has many bat houses spread throughout, and the bats keep the mosquito populations down. The town of New Glarus, which is known as "Little Switzerland", is an easy drive from the park. It's very picturesque although, due to COVID, many stores and sites were closed when we were there.4 years ago Yellowstone Lake State Park
- redpen49 During COVID we did not go out to eat or go shopping. The surrounding area was picturesque and farms neatly kept.4 years ago Yellowstone Lake State Park
