Tip for Other Campers:
Highly recommend visiting House on the Rock and Taliesin which are both about 45 minutes away. House on the Rock is...bizarre to say the least...but interesting to see. Taliesin is Frank Lloyd Wright's Wisconsin home.
Also recommend Hawks Mill winery in Browntown. They had an excellent unbaked Chardonnay
Tips from campers about Wolf Creek Campground
- Wanderintohappiness Stock up before you get there. Mountain Village, the only grocery store since Jerrys closed, has had some bare shelves since COVID and is very pricey. Only nearby dump station is at the rangers station but is closed indefinitely for repairs. Get your fishing license online before you lose cell coverage.3 years ago Salmon River Campground

Some sites have 50 amp service. There is a dump station West on Highway 11. It is a little hard to find but ask any local are bars or gas station and they can direct you. Very friendly town. No on...
