Question: What are the December and winter rates for rv camping?
Answer:
AFAIK the rates are the same year round. It's a state campground, and they generally don't have peak/off-peak rates....
Question: Which area of the campground has the most spacious and secluded sites? Also how are the temperatures there in December?
Answer:
The campground has been rebuilt; there are very few shady sites since the trees were taken out by Hurricane Michael. The spots have almost no privacy. There are a few shadier and more secluded spots in one small section of the campground, but my recollection is that none of them are large. Since Panama City Beach is in north Florida, temperatures will be cool, with highs in the upper 60s....
Question: Did any of you non-Floridians have trouble booking 10 months out for a summer trip? Floridians get to book earlier. Thanks!
Answer:
Not so far, although I'm noticing that, rather than getting a 14 day stay in one site, it might be a 9 day stay in one site and 5 days in another....
Question: Do they allow Dogs on the beach? It says pet friendly but does that include the beach?
Answer:
Dogs are not allowed on Florida State Park beaches....
