Question: Anyone know the policy on pets. Are they allowed in Famcamp?

Pet InformationAllowed with usual leash and clean-up rules. There is a fenced grassy dogie run. Dogie pots/bags provided throughout the park.You can also go here for more information: w3ell that doesn't work, they won't let me give you a URL.....

The short answer is yes, as long has you have your ID card, etc - since this is actually on base....

Tip for Other Campers:
1) bring borax - comet for the ants 2) be prepared for OTA antenna adjustments (if you desire tv) 3) watch out for pigs, coyotes, skunks and weasel (smelled the skunks, heard the coyotes, never saw the weasels.)
Question: Was there a lot of highway noise? Looks VERY close to two interstate highways. Thanks in advance.
Answer:
One of the two highways is pretty close, but it is higher plus the number of trees, RV's etc combine to make the road noise a non-issue. AND, as others have stated, AC on, no noise...

This is our third overnight stay here, this time - they did not know the reservation was for a pull through and had to "Find" a place. Our site was in the "long term" area. There are plenty of trees...
