Question: I tried to reserve a site, but it looks booked out for as long as I could scroll. Any tips on getting a reservation or do sites get booked and then cancelled closer to the dates so I should just keep checking for my desired dates?
Answer:
A race to reserve at midnight one year from your arrival date. If beyond that then keep trying and might run into an opening from cancellation. There are some overflow sites you might check at the ranger station. Great park, good luck!...
Question: Is it better to stay in the upper or lower loop campground?
Answer:
We prefer the upper. Feels a bit more roomy between spaces....
Question: How is the Verizon service here?
Answer:
No go on Verizon service in the area of the campground. Some minimal coverage if you hold your mouth just right at top of hill above campground. Otherwise, must go to near the VC....
