Question: I’m planning a trip to Jekyll Island with my 38’ 5th wheel, which is 13’6 high, and I’m pulling it with a F350 SB. I’m looking for the best road to take to the campground to avoid low-hanging trees and narrow roads. Should I take Stable Rd. or Beachview Rd.? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Probably one of the most isolated places you will ever visit. If you can't handle isolation, this might not be your place.

Realistically, the only realistic place to stay while visiting Clifton, Forge, Covington, and the Warm Springs/Hot Springs area. The sites are comfortably spaced, and the hospitality is excellent....

Cucci's Pizza in Covington is the best restaurant in the area. Visit the Homestead and the Greenbrier.
Question: Can't seem to find any individual campsite photos. Which sites are the most spacious with plenty of space between your neighbors? Also with the least chance of clipping a tree when backing into site.
Answer:
I had to get on top of my RV and cut a fair amount of overhang to get into the campsite. Obviously, they vary. The fact that the park is not maintaining sites and forcing campers to do their own brush clearing says everything. The real risk of serious damage is from low overhanging trees on the approaches to the park. Good luck....
