Question: How is the WIFI - good enough to check email?? Looks like there is a lot of traffic noise at this park - is that right??
Answer:
Had to think on this one...it’s been a while. We were able to check email and use my iPad. Most campgrounds have less than adequate WiFi. I mentioned the road noise but it’s a main highway and we didn’t particularly notice to the point it was a downside. Staff was great and convenient to see Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We did have to park the truck across from the fifth wheel but not a huge problem. Hope you enjoy....
Question: Is the RV park open in December?
Answer:
As far as I know they are open year round with the exception of very high water from the Mississippi River. They are on the inside of the levee but it’s a great campground. We have stayed there more than once and love seeing the barges moving up and down the river....

This campground is very convenient to the ferries to Mackinaw Island and restaurants. It is easy to drive by the entrance which was discussed when we checked in as we aren't the only ones that missed...
