35 minutes to Waco. We were there to visit Magnolia things. But did manage a visit to Balcones distillery which has tours Th-Sa.. The tasting room is closed Mondays.

We like that is close to restaurants and other shopping. The park is on the correct side of town to access White Sands National Park.Maybe 30 minutes or so from Cloudcroft. Which if you are visiting in the summer is a great place to visit for heat relief! There are a couple of nice BBQ place in Cloudcroft.Both of the pecan places west of town have...

The Mexican restaurant in the strip mall across from Price Chopper is a tasty place.
