Easy paved walk to town with great shops, breweries, restaurants, beach access- you can even walk down to Haystack Rock (the 3rd largest seastack formation in the world and a important part of The Goonies quest for One eyed Willie)We were able to roll a stroller everywhere we wanted to go and your only 10 minutes walk from the beach and estuary.

Tip for Other Campers:
The beach is 1.2 miles away on foot. I loved watching the Elk and their babies meander through. They have a fun zone, playground, multiple activity buildings and grilling stations. As for local attractions we just got here- but I do know the Goonies was filmed in Astoria and the house they saved is still there for all you 80s movie buffs. My aunt recommends...

Seward is a beautiful Alaskan town with grocery/gas access. Lots of good restaraunts and coffee shops as well as Harbor and tons of fishing charter options! Boat launches available too fir those with their own boats. Wildlife all over from sea lions and otters to rare sea birds and whales when youre really lucky!
