“Best park of this trip”
Nightly Rate: $48 USD
Jimmie Davis is a beautiful state park. Our site was level and services were easy to access. Unfortunately sewer is not available and there is only one dump station for the entire park. That's about...

Tip for Other Campers:
Though the park is gigantic, there is no restaurant on site. The nearest town is only a few miles away but only has one gas station. Since the park is so large the bike riding is quite good. There is a substantial disk golf course and nice kids playground and plenty of water activities on the summer. Great place to rest for a while.

Tip for Other Campers:
The park is paved so easy to ride bikes. The park has no restaurant or gift shop but where are several very nice hiking paths. There is a nice 9 mile mountain biking trail as well.
“Excellent stop for visiting sights in Springfield”
Nightly Rate: $65 USD
Site was level, gravel with full services. Completely pleased with campground and site. We camped at Cooks RV Motor Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
We stayed here for 3 nights so that we could tour the Fantastic Caverns on one day and the Bass Pro Wonder of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium. Springfield has plenty of gas, restaurants and stores for food. Cooks RV is a convenient location to the city and sights.
“Beautiful/clean stay, Nice people at checkin and enjoyed fellow campers”
Nightly Rate: $63 USD
Site was paved and level. Full service and everything worked well. We camped at Hidden Valley Outfitters, Overnight RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Our main reason for staying here was to go to Bennett Springs State Park. We could not get a spot in the park but this campground is very near. There is a clear river that flows through the park and people fish and float the river. The campground is quite large with full service sites and tent sites with electric and water. There are no services ( ie...
