Nice park, excellent staff. Major drawback is the distance to the showers, especially from the pool. Nice hiking areas also. We camped at Wilderness Lakes RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Smolik's Bar-B-Q has great food, located in nearby Mathis. Although a small town, groceries, hardware, etc. Are available. Lake Corpus Christie is across the road for water interests.
Located on the actual "top of the hill", this park is close enough to the metro area surrounding San Antonio to allow you to stay several days and see much of the Hill Country of Texas. A drawback...

So many places to see. Whether you plan several days in the area, or plan to return several times, you will want to take in all the Hill country has to offer. Shopping, antiques, music and dancing are all available. This was our second stay at Top Of The Hill.

Jorge's Mexican Food is a nice restaurant in nearby Bridgeport (even bill themselves as "home of the free margarita"!) has good food.
