“Beautiful Campground & close to everything”
Nightly Rate: $11 USD
Quiet campground with lots of trees & space between sites. Ranger & camp hosts were very friendly & attentive. Not very far to drive to stores, restaurants, etc. We camped at Davis Bayou Campground...

Tip for Other Campers:
Biloxi & Ocean Springs are great nearby towns to visit! Beware of the bugs... It was hard for us to enjoy time outside of our rig because the no-see-ums were biting so bad!
“Quiet campground, but lacking maintenance”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
Basic paved sites, however Site#7 had a huge hole in the pavement which made it difficult to level. Road into campground was filled with potholes, too. The ground on the driver's side of our rig was a...

Tip for Other Campers:
Definitely try Segnette Landing Restaurant just outside the park! Also, if heading into New Orleans, drive to Algiers Point, park on street (free), and take the inexpensive 5 minute ferry across the river!
“Easy beach access! ”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
We stayed beachside on Site #9, next to the boardwalk to the beach. Loved hearing the waves at night! The restrooms & showers were close & clean! We camped at Fort Clinch State Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Visiting Fort Clinch is a must, as is hunting for shark teeth on the beach! Also a great park for bike-riding! We hiked on Willow Pond Trail, although we couldn't complete the loop as part of trail was under water, but we did spot a gator! Outstanding sunrises on the beach, too! Be sure to explore Downtown Fernandina Beach, have a drink at the Palace Saloon...

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit the manatees before the park opens to the public at 8am! It gets crowded and the car line to get in the park can be long!
“Beautiful wooded sites!”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Camp Taylor has beautiful wooded sites. During our 2-week Oct. Stay, weekdays were very quiet. We stayed at site #56 and had a lovely view of the pond. Sites are water & electric, but the campground...
