Tips from campers about Fernandina Beach, FL
- Stringcheese Be mindful of the low clearance on the park road and the river campground loop.1 day ago Fort Clinch State Park
- RonH999 Camper told me the river campground flooded in heavy rain. I also suspect they have a lot of bugs because it was heavily forested.2 weeks ago Fort Clinch State Park
- Deb & Gene Visiting Fort Clinch is a must, as is hunting for shark teeth on the beach! Also a great park for bike-riding! We hiked on Willow Pond Trail, although we couldn't complete the loop as part of trail was under water, but we did spot a gator! Outstanding sunrises on the beach, too! Be sure to explore Downtown Fernandina Beach, have a drink at the Palace Saloon & the fried local shrimp at Timoti's! The Amelia River Cruise and the Amelia Island Lighthouse tour were also fun & informative!2 months ago Fort Clinch State Park
