“Gorgeous Location”
Nightly Rate: $75 USD
Lovely campground but felt like a ghost town when we arrived. Everything was closing for the season- pool was green, bounce pad was flat. We arrived after hours and we never engaged with a single...

Plenty of activities and outdoor entertainment for the children (if in-season). Town with supplies not too far.
“Our Only Option”
Nightly Rate: $41 USD
First off, you need a Green Key ($50 for non-resident) to book ANY park on Long Island. There is something else they use in Nassau County but it's the same idea. The website they use for booking is...

Tip for Other Campers:
Shirley/Yaphank/Mastic isn't the nicest but it's pretty central to other options. 20 minutes to the Ronkonkoma train station, Smith Point beach, and 90-ish minutes to Montauk.
“Great People”
Nightly Rate: $58 USD
I must've been asleep when I made my reservation here because it was ALL wrong. I showed up a day early but luckily, they were able to accommodate us. I booked the wrong kind of site (needed sewer and...

Tip for Other Campers:
Lewisburg is a decent-sized nearby town with food and shops.
“Overpriced But Good in a Pinch”
Nightly Rate: $70 USD
The campground itself was clean and tidy. The access code made the park feel sufficiently safe but the surrounding area is NOT good. We definitely heard gunfire our last night (and not just a couple...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you do anything, head back towards the Gateway Arch area. Avoid the East St. Louis area at all costs.
“New Car Smell”
Nightly Rate: $73 USD
BRAND NEW park with a lovely family that run it. Nice, level concrete slab (not on all spots yet but I'm sure they will be in the bear future). Stunning pool with a lazy river and water slide! It was...

Tip for Other Campers:
Branson has tons to do and this park is located comfortably close to it all while still being far enough away from the tourist craze. Butterfly Palace and Guy Fieri's restaurant were a couple stops for us.
