    They have a 26 foot limitation on a trailer (but 38 on a RV). Why? We have a 29 foot and we are curious if we could fit....

      I would look under the Allowable Vehicle / Driveway Details on the site you want. A lot of federal campgrounds don't update the allowed equipment length. Yet you also have to look at where it is the campground. Some campsites are tight to get to, because of the trees, and that's why they set the limitations.I'd say if you're a confident driver/backer, you should be fine....

      We stayed here in site 18 and are a 28 foot 5th wheel. We were ok. However, I agree at Federal Campgrounds they are notorious for creating campground roads that won't accommodate the largest site in that campground. I called the campground directly and was surprised to speak with someone to confirm we would fit. You might try giving them a call. Be cautious on your site selection, this campground was one of the worst for being level....

      I've seen that before and assume the RV length refers to a motorhome (one unit) whereas a trailer has a tow vehicle that has to be considered....
