Tips from campers about Downingtown, PA
- Dale_Wainwright We visited Philly one day and PA Dutch region the next. We also went to Hershey RV show on checkout day (approx 60 miles).6 months ago Brandywine Creek Campground
- Will U It is centrally located for visiting Longwood Gardens and Philadelphia. When visiting Philadelphia, if you are going to drive in, I highly recommend that you make your first stops at a Visitor's Center and purchase ride passes for the Phlash bus. There are four of these Visitor's Centers located at Independence Square, Love Park, Parkway, and City Hall. There you can purchase an all-day pass to ride to any of 19 stops for $5.00 per adult or free for seniors over 65 with a valid ID showing a birthdate. There are also family and multi-day passes available. This compares to about $35 each for the hop on hop off tour busses. Much better deal.8 months ago Brandywine Creek Campground
- JMacRV We stopped by September Farm Cheese Store and had lunch one day. The food was excellent and the store had some really cool food options as well. From this park we visited both New Jersey (Diggerland) and Hershey Park. Each place was about an hour and a half from the park.8 months ago Brandywine Creek Campground
