Tips from campers about Whittier, AK
- Kayak54 Be sure and do the fort tour-10 am and 2 pm during week.,2 years ago Fort Richardson State Historical Park
- RVL680797 Take the 10 mile bike ride on the designated trail that starts in the park for a 1st hand view of the surrounding area!2 years ago Fort Richardson State Historical Park
- NovarroNomads There is a small grocery store, a Family Dollar and more in town. Propane refills are cheap and easy just down the main road. Fishing is FREE in Texas State Parks, something we didn't know until we stayed here. And if you need to do laundry, I suggest the cruise to Mineral Wells. The laundromat there doubles as a laundry museum of sorts and is really cute, clean, and staffed.6 years ago Fort Richardson State Historical Park
