Tips from campers about Avra Valley, AZ
- Sonya_52 Never go here without a reservation. They do have some lovely campsites, especially the pine loop.
- Tcamper Make sure you stock up with plenty of food, ice, fuel . on your way to the park, because its a solid half hour plus to get to one of the Nearby towns.
- Amlaude The Monroe lake, biggest lake in Indiana, is all around. A boat ramp is 0.5 mile away from the loop we stayed at, as well as a beach protected from boat waves by a stone wall. Bloomington is a very nice city 30 min away. Highly recommend to go for a walk.
