“Pleasant sites and services for day use visitors but not campers. ”
Nightly Rate: $22 USD
Had to pay $10 day use fee in addition to $22 for campsite! Sites in pinewoods. No hookups - some water available. No water at dump station. Ranger station open Tues through Sat until 4PM only. We...

Nightly Rate: $22 USD
#9 campsite is large and private. Drinking water is close by. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back. We camped at Mancos State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Mancos State Park
- Aimlesslady The train from Durango to Ouray exceeded our expectations! A bit pricey, but it is an all day excursion. I recommend the open car, but be prepared for the chill! The views cannot be beat.3 years ago Mancos State Park
- Harry Whiteleggs A half-hour drive from the park leads to the little town of Dolores, home of two interesting museums. In town is the Rio Grande Southern Railroad Museum, home of Galloping Goose #5. These uniquely Colorado, automobile based railroad vehicles served the mining communities of Rico and Telluride in the 1940. Near town sits the Anasazi Heritage Center, which holds numerous artifacts and even a pueblo ruin from the Ancestral Pueblo people.5 years ago Mancos State Park
- Wandering With Us A really nice restaurant in Mancos, Olio, is a good place to eat. Mesa Verde National Park can be seen in the distance - definitely need to go there.5 years ago Mancos State Park

“Quiet, wooded campground”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
This is a fairly rustic campground that is in need of some TLC. For $30 a night you get a spot to park in the woods - no hook ups. We had a spacious back in site with a picnic table and fire ring with...

The park surrounds a small reservoir in the mountains, a few miles from Mesa Verde National Park. Wakeless boating is allowed on the water and it seems to be popular with local anglers. Tucked in...

$22/night campground fees plus a $9/day day use fee. Buy the annual pass for the Colorado Parks for $80 and the day use fee is removed. Nice park near a lake in the midst of a pine tree forest....
