Nightly Rate: $45 USD
The most unique campground setting, we were literally enveloped in the rock basin. Possibly the quietest place on earth, so far from any traffic. The night sky was unbelievable! Great hiking, enough...

Tip for Other Campers:
Close enough to go to Bryce for the day. Closest restaurants in Tropic but we just made sure we had enough provisions for 4 days.
“Pleasant Surprise”

Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by this nice little state park. Its adjacent to a golf course so lots of greenery plus many cottonwood trees in the park. Very enjoyable stay....

Tip for Other Campers:
Nice short drive up to Swasey's beach, upriver. 45 minutes to Arches.
The John Wesley Powell museum is a sleeper - very well done and interesting. Quite a big deal for such a small town.
Swell coffee-had an excellent breakfast. There is a nice small grocery in town as well.
“Listen to the river all night long!”

We love this park and the tiny town of Mancos. Park facility is spotless-even the laundry room.We plan ahead to be right by the river. Mancos is delightful. Gorgeous countryside. We ride our...

“Wonderful State Park”

This is a very popular park! We were in Redhead loop with full hookup (30amp) in a 33' 5th wheel. No view of the lake but a very private setting. We enjoyed riding our e-bikes around the park and a...

Tip for Other Campers:
Plan ahead. Good launching point to explore the White Mountains. Enjoy a meal at Annie's in Lakeside.
“Absolutely Gorgeous!”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
One of our favorite AZ state parks. Stunning mountains and this time the desert was like a forest from so much rain. North of busy Tucson just enough but easy access to most anywhere. It used to be...
