Tips from campers about Le Roy, MN

  • MarthaR I think the deluxe sites were worth the few dollars more, though the regular sites are also nice, adjoin open land, have younger trees and some mature ones and nice landscaping. They may have less road noise. We found that though there is some road noise during the day it was entirely quiet from about 11 pm to 6:30 am.
  • Raymond_858 We did allot of ancient ruins in the area, we loved it. I think your kids would love it too.
  • rsegler The nearby Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum is Smithsonian quality and has one of the largest ancient pottery collections anywhere and ruins behind it. Admission was just $5. We hiked the relatively flat and easy House on Fire Trail and took amazing photos of the house. Natural Bridge NM was worth the drive though light rain and strong winds caused us to cut short hikes to the viewpoints on the loop drive. The Bears Ears Education Center is 25 miles to the South in Bluff, UT. Just a few miles further are petroglyphs at the Sands Island
