- DillerTime We used Medina Lake as our jumping point to explore South central Texas. Specifically, San Antonio and even down to Corpus Christi and Padre Island. These required lengthy road trips, but we save some mileage on our rig and it was safe while we were out most days. its about an hour out of San Antonio and 45 minutes from the outer edges for Walmart another conveniences. There were some cute local restaurants, but we actually never made it.2 weeks ago Thousand Trails Medina Lake
