Tips from campers about Johnston, RI
- Topperace Columbus is a quaint little town. Good hamburgers at the Dairy Cone drive in, great beers at the Hound Song brewery, and two decent grocery stores will provide most of what you may need while staying in the area. Several other small towns close by are worth the drive/visit - Schulenburg area has the "Painted Churches" tour that was neat to see, and Eagle Lake has the Kountry Bakery for those with sweet tooth, this is one not to pass up.2 years ago Thousand Trails Colorado River
- tom christiansen Centrally located for trips to Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Columbus is a cute town with a small Walmart and an HEB nearby. Restaurants and services nearby.4 days ago Thousand Trails Colorado River
- Russ Haire Bring a kayak for the Colorado River on site. Putt putt was fun. Lots of deer3 weeks ago Thousand Trails Colorado River
