We took a tour with Horseshoe Bend Slot Canyon Tours in Page, AZ. It's a small family owned business that takes you on their family owned land to see slot canyons and close access to Horseshoe Bend. We took the 8 am trip and there were only 6 of us. It was a great tour....

Question: How is the walk to the beach? I see you have to cross a highway - is it dangerous or doable? I’m not interested in a golf cart. We will have a car to drive but I see parking by the beach is limited.

We drove. I've been to this beach many times and the access at 8th is my favorite place to go....

Question: The golf cart rental rate is very high - more than the cost of a site per night. How necessary is one? Campground looks small. Do you need anything n to travel to the beach and Barefoot landing and other attractions or can you walk or drive?

Answer:

A golf cart is not necessary if you have a car available. Beach, shopping, and restaurants are not easy to walk to....
