Downtown Fredericksburg with lots of shops and restaurants a short drive and many wineries and some brew houses. There's a small municipal airport across the street, we got to watch small planes take off and land, some were flying in formations. Close to AT&T Stadium, I recommend the stadium tour, it's a beautiful stadium! Close to Globe Life Field (home of the Texas Rangers) and Six Flags Over Texas. Tons of places to eat nearby or get a delivery. Grocery stores and shopping centers nearby.

Tip for Other Campers:
Go into Grapevine and walk through the center of town. Lots of shops, restaurants and tasting rooms. Also close to DFW airport if you need to fly in/out. Close to Fort Worth Stockyards.
