Tips from campers about Progreso, BCN
- RS Dunmead Golf course is nice and prices are reasonable. Bar attached to golf course has good sandwiches.8 months ago Thunder Bay Golf & RV Resort
- Felicia Fitzgerald We went to several towns that are about an hour or less from the campgrounds. I highly suggest Alpena if you like to walk around the towns. We went to Petosky and Harbor springs to ride our motorcycles on the trail of trees, Mackinaw City (two expensive and very busy), Rogers City (stop and purchase meats at Phath's meat market, the bacon is awesome and go to the Painted Lady right next door) and St. Ignace (across the Mackinaw Bridge, go to Castle Rock). Suggest that you see the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse and all the lighthouses along the coast of Lake Huron. So much history there. In Rogers City we found the Maritime Museum. This town was hit hard by the ships that sank on Lake Huron. There is a park in Hillman that has music either Friday or Saturday. Free to the public. Lots to do within one hour or less from the park.9 months ago Thunder Bay Golf & RV Resort
- Montana Kids Nice golf course right on property. Reasonable greens fees2 years ago Thunder Bay Golf & RV Resort
