Tips from campers about Beulah, ND
- travel_CJL77 Of course this is North Dakota, so it is windy often and storms roll through frequently. Don't keep your awning out of you're not there to monitor it. And I wouldn't keep things outside that could blow away. Beulah is a cute little town, the people are pretty friendly. Everything you need is basically on Main Street, you can walk from the RV park like 15 minutes or drive probably less than 5. Bronson's is probably the only grocery store, but it has a lot for how small of a town it is. There's also a liquor store next door to it. There's a laundromat that's open daily, and they do have a quarter machine. Dairy Queen up the road, and Subway in town. Three gas stations. North about 45 minutes is Lake Sakakawea and Lake Sakakawea State Park. The lake is huge and beautiful, the shore is made of really cool orange rocks that make perfect skipping rocks. When we were here they had a live band playing at a bar on main street which was a cool event. And the town next door, Zap, had a demolition derby which was really fun! There's a coffee shop across from Bronson's that is super cute, literally a old house turned into a coffee shop. They had cute trinkets for sale along with good coffee. There's a thrift store called Beulah Senior Citizen's Club and they had a lot of items at really good prices. I got nice hoodies for $3.50 each and they do half off prices on Fridays. Bismark is over an hour away, so I would plan your errands there accordingly if you don't want to make the trip multiple times.7 months ago Sun Valley RV Park
