Tips from campers about Orono, ON
- Mikea1949 If you are looking for beautiful site, book riverside. Fishing right from bank.6 months ago Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch
- Dave Nash Go to the Natural Bridge Falls which is 28 miles southward on highway 298 just outside the CG. It's a beautiful cavern with the Boulder River running through it. Great pic opportunity for sure. On your way back to the CG, we stopped at Holly's Road Kill Saloon. It's the only type of service of any kind for many miles. I must warn you. This saloon is a Shangri-La for Trumpers. Flags and signs supporting the ex-prez who really does care for people. There's also a life size cut out of Mr. Orange. Holly who will likely be serving you is quite the fan obviously. In fact, while we were there, she threw out a woman serenading her with a bunch of "F-bombs" because she was wearing a mask. Yes, this actually happened. This woman only wanted to use the bathroom, but because she wore a mask, Holly yelled and screamed that she did not want her kind in her establishment. All for wearing a mask. Yes people, this is America now.2 years ago Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch
- Schwantes Family I'd suggest the river spots and come early in the afternoon or evening as they don't have any lighting throughout the campground.7 months ago Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch
