Question: Do you hear highway noise from 1-10?
Answer:
We did not hear any traffic noise from the interstate during our 1 night stay. But we were not outside of the RV much....
Question: Is this recommended as good one night stop from I-40 West?
Answer:
We've used this park and the KOA next door several times during our travels. It is hard to recommend either as both have their advantages and disadvantages. If you you choose this park, be aware the sites are narrow with tall bushes on the sides impacting the space available to open slides and the roads are narrow with vehicles parked along the road infringing on space to make turns into the narrow sites. The public road from the interstate is showing its' age. Safe travels....

Open April 1 to November 15. Not much civilization around so bring whatever you will need.

Tip for Other Campers:
Although close to town, Dominos would not deliver to the park. There was an Applebees a short distance away probably within walking distance.
Question: What are the differences in standard and premium sites???? Thanks.
Answer:
It seems there a few premium sites that are larger (premium slips measure 75' with 15' wide parking pads) than the standards sites. They appear to be only back ins. They are generally located near the front of the park closer to the Interstate and roads so there is a little more road noise there....
